What MFS & FFCB Are Doing in Response to the Reversal of Roe vs. Wade

Posted on July 13, 2022 in News

On June 24th, 2022, the Supreme Court of the United States of America made the historic decision to reverse the landmark Roe vs. Wade, which originally established the ability to get an abortion as a constitutional right. Over half of the states in the nation are slated to place heavy restrictions on the practice of abortion, which has cast uncertainty on other areas of reproductive healthcare, specifically fertility care.

Thankfully, California remains a patient-friendly community to the reproductive world, with many fertility care practices ready to provide assistance to families living in states impacted by the reversal of Roe vs. Wade. As a result of this ruling, Male Fertility & Sexual Medicine Specialists and the Family Fertility CryoBank are working hard to meet the needs of patients hoping to have vasectomies or those wanting to ship their reproductive tissues (sperm, eggs, and embryos) to our secured vault for long term storage. Our practices are adding appointment slots and staff are meeting this time challenge.

To provide you with additional peace of mind, patients from out of state who are either receiving a vasectomy or transferring their reproductive tissues to us for long-term storage will be provided with a 20% discount until August 31, 2022. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at www.malefertility.com or www.spermbankcalifornia.com or 619-286-3520.

We look forward to continuing our legacy of care for nearly 30 years.
